En el marco de la Pandemia del Coronavirus entre Senadores peronistas se cruzan por la baja de sus dietas.
El bloque del frente de Todos del Senado mantuvo una larga reunión por teleconferencia para repasar las medidas tomadas por el Gobierno en el combate contra el Coronavirus, pero no logró acordar una baja de las dietas como habían propuesto tres de sus integrantes: Carlos Espínola, Dalmacio Mera y Edgardo Kueider.
En la carta que le enviaron a José Mayans, el jefe de la bancada, el trío pidió autorización para «rebajar las dietas» y «contribuir económicamente a la lucha contra la pandemia que azota al mundo», en especial al sistema sanitario. No fijaron porcentajes.
Sin que nadie le preguntara, el entrerriano Kueider defendió desde la pantalla del Zoom la necesidad de ceder una parte del sueldo para instituciones médicas, pero varios cuestionaron que haya habido un planteo institucional y público de un asunto tan sensible. Según reconstruyeron a LPO, la pampeana Norma Durango propuso que no se tratara de un tema del bloque y que cada senador hiciera con sus ingresos lo que quiera sin exigirle nada al resto.
Tres senadores del peronismo pidieron bajarse sus dietasDe hecho, hay varios que ya los donaron sin ninguna carta a Mayans como Nancy González (al hospital Zonal «Dr. Andrés Ísola» de Puerto Madryn), Maurice Closs (al hospital Aristóbulo del Valle de Misiones) y los salteños Sergio «Oso» Leavy y Nora Giménez, que le pidieron a Cristina Kirchner disponer del giro de sus haberes, una carta similar a la que le envió el jefe de Cambiemos Luis Naidenoff.
La presidenta del Senado no habló del tema a diferencia de Sergio Massa, que propuso un ajuste de 200 millones al presupuesto de Diputados. Un dato: la polémica carta del trío peronista blanquea la donación en el Senado porque piden formalmente un descuento en la liquidación, mientras que sus compañeros deberán exhibir sus recibos para certificarlos. Por ahora, sólo Closs mostró el suyo.
En la teleconferencia Kueider justificó su carta en que el peronismo entrerriano tomó una medida similar y él no podía apartarse. Recordó que su gobernador Gustavo Bordet y su gabinete se bajaron un 50% el sueldo, por encima de sus pares de San Juan, Córdoba y Tucumán, que se redujeron el 30%.
Mayans y Anabel Fernández Sagasti, la vicejefa de la bancada, no hablaron sobre el tema y evitaron abrir un polémica que en Diputados inició Cambiemos. Sin vuelos que los apuraran, como suele ocurrir en el Senado, la charla duró tres horas y se inició con un repaso de las autoridades de los decretos firmados por Alberto Fernández para combatir la pandemia y un guion de cómo será la exposición de este viernes de Claudio Moroni en la Comisión de Trabajo.
La oposición envió un extensísimo cuestionario que podría derivar en una interpelación virtual y dejar mal parado al ministro de Trabajo. Daniel Lovera, presidente de la Comisión, tratará de evitarlo. En la Rosada no quedaron muy conformes con los títulos que regalaron los ministros Nicolás Trotta (Educación) y Ginés González García (Salud) en sus exposiciones en Diputados.
Los senadores describieron la situación sanitaria de cada rincón del país. El chaqueño Antonio Rodas captó la atención por el alto brote de infectados en su tierra y la catamarqueña Inés Blas le agradeció a la virgen del valle de Catamarca que su provincia sea una de las tres sin casos positivos.
Hubo planteos sobre la crisis de las economías regionales y la necesidad de ayudar a las pymes del interior. Mayans anotó varios casos para llevar a la Rosada.
Jorge Taiana detalló el documento que firmó junto a los líderes del continente para que los organismos internacionales condonen la deuda a los países de la región.
Sería uno de los temas que se aborden en las primeras comisiones virtuales del Senado, pero al igual que en Diputados, no se puede votar mientras no se modifique el reglamento. No hay agenda para hacerlo.
Otra comisión que podría abrirse es la de la banca de la mujer por la cantidad de casos de violencia de género registrados durante la cuarentena. Fue un planteo de los curas villeros que visitaron a Alberto Fernández en Olivos el sábado. Y llegó al Congreso.
