El decreto firmado por el intendente Jaime Méndez se da en consonancia con lo dispuesto a nivel provincial y nacional.
Teniendo en cuenta la propagación acelerada a nivel mundial del virus COVID-19, denominado coronavirus, y la reciente declaración de pandemia por parte de la Organización Mundial de la Salud, la Municipalidad de San Miguel también ha declarado la emergencia sanitaria en el distrito, en consonancia con lo dispuesto por los gobiernos de la Provincia y la Nación.
La medida, que tiene una vigencia de 180 días, fue suscripta por el intendente Jaime Méndez a través de un decreto que establece distintas regulaciones a nivel local, sujetas a ser modificadas con el correr de los días, a fin de contrarrestar el riesgo de contagio y proteger a todos los vecinos.
En este marco, se suspende por 30 días todo tipo de evento, acto, reunión o acontecimiento que implique la congregación de más de 200 personas. Se cancelan las actividades de las Escuelas Deportivas, Centros Culturales, Polideportivos Municipales y Centros de Desarrollo Infanto Familiar.
Asimismo, se dispone la suspensión de actividades en boliches bailables y en el bingo. Y se insta a bancos, locales gastronómicos, establecimientos religiosos, oficinas estatales o privadas con atención al público y a toda actividad comercial, a evitar la conglomeración de público y extremar las medidas de higiene pertinentes.
En consonancia con lo dispuesto a nivel nacional, se establece una licencia a todo el personal municipal mayor de 60 años, al ser un grupo etario con mayor riesgo de contagio. Por otro lado, se limita sólo a trámites urgentes la atención al público en dependencias municipales, solicitando a los vecinos realizarlos en forma online.
“Estamos ante una situación que requiere nuestro máximo compromiso, y en ese sentido generamos estas medidas. Si actuamos de acuerdo a las recomendaciones de los especialistas, seguramente ayudaremos a mitigar la propagación del virus. Es muy importante que nos cuidemos entre todos”, expresó el intendente Jaime Méndez.
Con este objetivo, el jefe comunal instruyó a las secretarías competentes del gobierno municipal a implementar las medidas necesarias en cuanto a la movilización de los recursos humanos y materiales para el cumplimiento de estas disposiciones.
Por último, se exhorta a la población a respetar la cuarenta obligatoria de 14 días para viajeros provenientes de zonas de transmisión, y a cumplir las medidas de higiene necesarias como lavado de manos, desinfección de superficies y ventilación de ambientes. Se recuerda, asimismo, que en caso de presentar síntomas el vecino debe comunicarse inmediatamente al 148.
