La reclusión forzosa a la que nos ha abocado el coronavirus pone mucho tiempo libre en nuestras manos (el que otrora pasábamos fuera de casa) y, aguijoneados por la necesidad de invertir de alguna manera ese tiempo (abocada a ser víctima de la parca y su afilada guadaña), engrasamos nuestras neuronas para dar lo mejor de nosotros mismos en términos creativos.
El confinamiento impuesto por la crisis del coronavirus puede ser un poderoso acicate para la creatividad (y no tanto para el aburrimiento) si nos empeñamos en sacar partido a la materia gris que hay alojada en nuestra humilde sesera.
Exprimir la creatividad es lo que ha hecho precisamente Jure Tovrljan, un diseñador afincado en Liubliana (Eslovenia) que se ha sacado de la chistera un proyecto de lo más ingenioso utilizando como materia prima la crisis del COVID-19.
En el proyecto «Coronavirus Logos» el diseñador esloveno se ha tomado la molestia de rediseñar logos muy conocidos adaptados a los momentos difíciles con los que nos toca lidiar en la actualidad como consecuencia de la pandemia.
De esta forma, los dos círculos de color rojo y naranja que constituyen el logo de Mastercard aparecen, por ejemplo, separados y guardando la conveniente distancia de seguridad en el proyecto de Tovrljan. La famosa sirena de logotipo de Starbucks porta una mascarilla y el logo de Corona pierde su poco afortunado nombre (a la luz de la crisis provocada por el coronavirus) para adoptar uno nuevo (y necesariamente provisional): «Need new name».
